SCHOOL
Matchday Soccer School is an 9 month long program for grade 9 to 12 student athletes that offers a full time, professional, holistic soccer training environment with a focus on continued academic studies.
Who Is This For?
If you are a highly self-motivated soccer athlete competing at the top levels in your region and wish to compete beyond high school....then we want to hear from you! Applicants should be prepared to commit to a full time, high performance lifestyle and embrace this journey with a growth mindset. MPI welcomes athletes from all over Vancouver Island, in addition to other areas of Canada including international students. Consequently, MPI will partner with the Canadian Homestay Network who have a proven track record in providing quality billet housing and support. How Does It Work?
TRAIN, STUDY, LEARN... and train again!
The daily format blends a pro soccer daily routine with an academic loading to create the optimal environment to prepare for post secondary soccer. Full time students may be enrolled in any of the following in order to access the Matchday Soccer School:

What Are The Goals?
The MPI Soccer School operates as a vehicle to university, professional and semi-professional teams. This is done in three ways:
Enhance abilities tactically, technically and physically through our programs in the gym and on the pitch
MPI network offers exposure to university/college coaches and semi pro and professional franchises
Where Do I Begin?
Our focus is on quality over quantity so there are limited spots in the school. The application process will involve an evaluation to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the program.
To apply take the following steps:

Parents/guardians please complete the 'Expression of Interest' form

Students prepare a student athlete resume

Provide a minimum of two references (preferably teacher, coach or employer)

Prepare an essay, minimum 250 words, outlining your aspirations and why you think you would be an ideal candidate for the MPI Soccer School
